Al Kindi Specialised Hospital is celebrating 10 years of successful challenges in continuing to extend its exceptional healthcare services.
The mission of patient-centred care has been transformed by a new concept of sharing the patient’s journey, from A-Z, with all members of the participating medical team (doctor, nurse, clinical technicians etc), encouraging the patient to interact with overall system and be part of their treatment.
The hospital’s medical team covers 24 specialities, some dealt with exclusively in the private allergy and immunology clinic.
In 2019, Al Kindi announced the opening of its Medical Check-up Clinic which is headed by a highly qualified physician and offers a range of checks.
The Physiotherapy Department is undergoing renovation to upgrade its services within a new, refreshing environment offering the latest technology for diagnosis and treatment of all types of sports and muscular injures.
There is also the Dental Centre, where you will find a full range of specialities for all ages.
In addition to the main hospital, Al Kindi Medical Centre in Sanad delivers the same standard and quality of services for those who are unable to make it to the Hospital. It has now received a licence to provide various medical checks (including, but not limited to, pre-employment, pre-marital, pre-school and housemaid medicals). Also, the Derma & Cosmo Centre is up to date with latest technology to provide trustworthy skin treatments.
The expansion of the existing facility has started and is expected to be in operation by the end of 2020; it will provide new, luxurious patient accommodation with a special comfort zone. It will also provide the opportunity to further expand services.
Al Kindi Hospital will also launch the first diagnostic breast cancer centre run by sub-specialised senior consultants in this field with the latest technology in scanning through the newest versions of machines, including mammogram, MRI and CT.
